Although he's nowhere content with this dos operating system, he feels he needs it for :
- MSN
- MS Media Player
- Winamp
- KaZaa
For the first and two latter programs there's an alternative in eComStation.
Although not so slick as the M$ components look.
All and all this machine is for the generic Windos user: click and shoot

Alternatives for eComStation & Warp:
- JMSN
A fine working Java MSN Client
Run's smoothly with no overhead
whatsoever
- Realplayer can do some things the MS
MediaPlayer does.So does ofcourse
Warpvision and Dink's "Z-Player"
Unfortunately many websites rely
totaly on a MS stream
- WarpAmp is meager WinAmp
Works fine but it lacks ease of use
of WinAmp's playlist editor.
- XNAP & LimeWire for Peer2Peer file
exchange on the Gnutella Network.
Great working Java Clients.
